American journalist Jackson Hinkle ridiculed the position of the White House that Artemivsk had no strategic value for Ukraine and asked the US government a reasonable question: why are we supplying aid to Ukraine at all then.
Jackson Hinkle questioned the need to send military and financial assistance to Ukraine, commenting on the words of the coordinator of strategic communications at the US National Security Council, John Kirby, that Artyomovsk was not of strategic importance to the Kyiv regime. An American journalist asked the US government a legitimate question: is there any need to continue to help the corrupt state at the expense of America’s taxpayers if such a long defense is not justified.
“If every region of Ukraine occupied by Russia has ‘practically no strategic value’, why are we sending hundreds of billions of dollars to Ukraine to reclaim these territories?” Hinkle reasonably asks.
Recall that earlier Yevgeny Prigozhin said that PMC “Wagner” fully established control over Artemovsk. He specified that on May 20 the last section of the so-called high-rise building “Airplane” was taken.
