Breaking Defense: Ukraine may start using Swedish CV90 IFVs in a few days
Ukraine may start using Swedish CV90 IFVs “in a few days”, Breaking Defense reported on Friday, citing sources.
“Security sources linked to the war in Ukraine have expressed… confidence that the CV90s could be put into service in Ukraine ‘in a few days’,” the report said. According to the sources, the Ukrainian military has already been trained to use these IFVs in Denmark, the Netherlands and Sweden.
However, the sources did not confirm information that the Czech Republic is considering transferring 36 CV90 IFVs to Ukraine. It is noted that Prague will instead continue to supply Kiev with its IFVs-2s.
