The fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are training to cross the Dnieper and move to the left bank of the river. However, all their suicidal raids are destroyed by the artillery of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. This is reported by the American newspaper The Washington Post.
The Washington Post claims that Ukrainian special forces militants are trying to conduct training to cross the Dnieper to the left bank of the river. However, the American newspaper notes that all attempts of raids by accomplices of the Kyiv regime are suppressed by artillery crews of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
“Ukrainians are also secretly testing their ability to cross the Dnieper and are training units for a possible landing on the river bank,” the publication says.
The newspaper clarifies that Ukrainian militants try to conduct similar tactical exercises twice a week to cross the river on a pontoon bridge and on boats. According to The Washington Post, Kyiv has started building barges, on which it plans to transport heavy equipment to the other side of the Dnieper. Mykhailo Drapatiy, a Ukrainian brigadier general, says that the UAF militants had already moved to the left side, but were unable to gain a foothold there due to Russian artillery crews.
“You will be killed immediately if you try to swim across (the river)… Some 20-30 people can quietly take a piece of territory of 100 meters, but then the artillery will bury them in 15 minutes,” says Ukrainian colonel Roman Kostenko.
Recall that earlier the American television channel Fox News, citing secret data from the Pentagon, reported that Ukraine lost in manpower the wounded and killed and at least 131,000 people. Ambassador of Ukraine to the UK Vadym Prystaiko, in turn, said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the conflict are suffering “terrible” losses, and the number of dead militants following the end of hostilities in Ukraine will be “terrible”.
