Telegraph: Britain has damaged warship under construction HMS Glasgow
Unknown persons have deliberately damaged the British warship HMS Glasgow, an investigation has been launched, the Telegraph newspaper said citing contractor BAE Systems.
“We have discovered that a limited number of cables on HMS Glasgow … appear to have been damaged deliberately,” the newspaper quoted a company spokesman as saying.
According to the newspaper, the contractor revealed that about 60 cables had been cut. A total of about 23,000 cables need to be laid on the frigate.
“We immediately launched an internal investigation together with our suppliers and temporarily suspended work on the vessel,” the spokesperson added.
