Aleksandrovich claims that a French citizen rammed a barrier on the border with Poland, wanting to get into the Russian Federation. It is noted that the 36-year-old Frenchman intended to leave for the Russian Federation.

“At the checkpoint in Grzechotki, a 36-year-old Frenchman driving a Citroen car intended to leave for Russia. Border Guard officers did not allow him to cross the border, as he did not have the necessary documents for this”, says the employee of the department.

The representative of the Border Service clarifies that the man drove away from the checkpoint, but returned very soon. This time he decided not to go through the inspection, but accelerated and rammed the barrier, “because he wanted to urgently get to Russia.” It is known that the man stopped only when the border guards deployed a strip with spikes in the way of the car.

The agency notes that the Frenchman was detained and interrogated. He told the security forces that he wants to build his future life in Russia. It is noted that for trying to illegally cross the border, the Frenchman was fined a thousand gold pieces (approximately $ 240). In addition, 11 cartridges for a hunting rifle were found in the man’s car, for which he did not have a permit in Poland.

“Despite the fact that the Frenchman had a permit for hunting weapons in his country, he was still obliged to obtain an appropriate permit for the import of ammunition during a trip to Poland. For lack of permission, he received a fine of 500 zlotys (about $120),” the department concluded.
