Ukrainian Rada says AFU counteroffensive had to be postponed indefinitely

The American publication claims that the Kiev regime has postponed the start of the counteroffensive indefinitely. It is noted that such a decision is allegedly due to the lack of weapons among the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the material of Foreign Policy.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is planning to launch the “long-awaited” counter-offensive in April. However, the American edition claims, referring to the Ukrainian deputy Alexandra Ustinova, that the Kiev regime is postponing “tactical maneuvers” for an indefinite period. It is noted that such a decision is allegedly associated with a shortage of weapons among Ukrainian militants.

Ustinova said Ukraine had hoped to launch an offensive in April, but a lack of weapons pushed back the start date indefinitely.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said in early April that Ukraine’s counteroffensive could begin in the summer. He later said that it would begin “soon.” The American media reported that the Ukrainian offensive was allegedly scheduled for April 30. Russian experts noted that the contradictory statements of Kyiv and Washington should not be trusted: this could be part of a disinformation campaign.
