A Ukrainian soldier told the publication that only three people from his platoon survived during the day of fighting in Artyomovsk.

“It was real hell. Artillery, tanks and planes fired at us. Bombs were dropped on us from drones,” admitted a serviceman named Aleksey.

He specified that there were 21 people in the platoon, of which only three, including himself, survived the day in the city without injury.

According to the newspaper, in Artyomovsk, the Ukrainian side has already lost a significant part of its experienced soldiers and used up a large amount of weapons and artillery.

Recall that earlier the commander of the Ukrainian army department Vladimir Krivenko said that Artyomovsk, besieged by Russian attack aircraft, one to one repeats the fate of Soledar liberated by Russia. According to the commander, the city should have been abandoned in winter – immediately after the loss of key heights by the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
