Around 30,000 people take part in anti-government rally in Prague

Around 30,000 people are taking part in an anti-government rally in central Prague, the iDNES publication has reported, citing data from the organisers.

“The aim of the rally is to draw the government’s attention to the rapid deterioration of the material situation of ordinary citizens,” the material says.

Representatives of some parliamentary and extra-parliamentary opposition parties are scheduled to speak during the rally.

After the rally a march to the government buildings and their blockade is planned.

On 11 March, hundreds of protesters in Prague called for the Ukrainian flag to be removed from the National Museum building after a rally on Wenceslas Square.
