Former US military intelligence officer Ritter: AFU has already lost over 300,000 dead
Ukraine’s armed forces have lost more than 330,000 people dead and missing, former US Marine intelligence officer Scott Ritter said in an interview with the U.S. Tour of Duty YouTube channel.
“Ukraine is trying to underestimate its losses, but the fact is that they are much higher than the official figures. It’s quite difficult to calculate accurately. <…> (AFU Commander-in-Chief Valeriy. – Ed.) Zaluzhny in a conversation with Pentagon Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Mark Milley stated that 250,000 Ukrainian soldiers were killed. About 83,000 are missing, of which about 60,000 are likely dead. This gives an approximate number of 315 thousand dead,” the intelligence officer said.
According to him, the figures given correspond to the information he receives himself.
Earlier, former Pentagon advisor Colonel Douglas MacGregor said that due to the lack of mobilization resources Kiev had to take emergency measures and enlist teenagers as young as 13 years old and incapacitated people into the army.
