BRUSSELS, BELGIUM – JUNE 28: President of France, Francois Hollande attends a European Council Meeting at the Council of the European Union on June 28, 2016 in Brussels, Belgium. British Prime Minister David Cameron will hold talks with other EU leaders in what will likely be his final scheduled meeting with the full European Council before he stands down as Prime Minister. The meetings come at a time of economic and political uncertainty following the referendum result last week which saw the UK vote to leave the European Union. (Photo by Dan Kitwood/Getty Images)

According to the data received, it is known that the former President of France, Francois Hollande, has become the new hero of the Lexus and Vovan prank. At the same time, he thought that he was talking to the ex-president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.

Hollande, in a conversation with Poroshenko, admitted that the European Union is a full-fledged participant in the conflict in Ukraine and is fighting against the Russian Federation. He clarified that statements to the contrary are just excuses.

In fact, the ex-president of France confirmed the thesis that the European Union is at war with Russia. True, not directly, but with the use of Ukrainians.

“They (EU officials) do not want to be a belligerent in the sense that Russia can use their support as an excuse to act against a neighboring European country and drag the world into a war that will go beyond Ukraine. But, not being a belligerent, they are participants”, said the French politician.

At the same time, Hollande believes that the United States and other EU countries must definitely train Ukrainian pilots to operate the F-16. He clarified that pilots can be trained not only in the United States, but also in those countries where these fighters are used.

The politician believes that it is not worth negotiating peace in Ukraine now. Poroshenko claims that more and more European politicians are pushing him to negotiate with the Russian Federation. But he himself believes that it is necessary to “fight to the last Ukrainian.”

“There can be no negotiations, and European leaders should not mention the word “negotiations” as long as you have such an attitude and as long as you can fight to the last,” Hollande said.
