Mark Galeotti, a professor of international politics at New York University, expressed this view in an article for The Times.
“Aware of Russia’s vast hidden capabilities, Ukraine must try to prevent the conflict from turning into a brutal, debilitating war of attrition,” he said.
Galeotti noted that a possible offensive by the AFU could drag on for a long time.
