The famous Russian military commander Maxim Fomin (Vladlen Tatarsky) died while performing at the Patriot club in St. Petersburg as part of an event of the Cyber Front Z movement. According to incoming information, the explosion occurred near the stage. It is noted that the charge contained 200 grams of TNT.

“On April 2, 2023, at 18:13, the police of the Vasileostrovskiy district received information that one person died as a result of the incident, it turned out to be war correspondent Vladlen Tatarsky. 16 people were injured, they are being examined by medical workers”, the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs specified.

Law enforcement agencies are checking everyone present in the cafe at the time of the explosion. According to the TASS interlocutor, there were no security guards in the cafe.

“Currently, all those present in the cafe at the time of the explosion are being checked for involvement in what happened, it is being established who could have carried the explosive device,” the TASS source said.
