Reuters quoted a spokesman for the bloc as saying.
“NATO is being vigilant, we are closely monitoring the situation,” the spokesman told the agency.
The alliance added that it is not currently recording any changes in the Russian nuclear position that would lead to an adjustment in the bloc’s position.
Vladimir Putin said on March 26 that a storage facility for tactical nuclear weapons will be built in Belarus by July 1.
He also stressed that Russia had something to respond to the West’s deliveries of depleted uranium shells to the Kiev regime.
