Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, together with the high command, insists on continuing the defense of Artyomovsk (Bakhmut) despite the constant attacks of Russian military personnel. This is reported by the Telegram channel “Ukropfresh”.
According to the data received, it is known that the UAF militants have growing doubts about the advisability of keeping Arteyoovsk (Bakhmut) from Russian military personnel. It is noted that Zelensky, together with the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, insists on holding the city, despite the constant shelling of the Russian army and the heavy defense of the city, which dragged on for months.
Ukrainian militants have been practically surrounded in recent months. Also, the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are experiencing constant shell hunger and high losses of personnel. Residents of Ukraine and abroad are increasingly “shouting” on social networks that they need to retreat and leave the city.
It is noted that in the ranks of the Ukrainian militants and among the Western allies of Ukraine, there is growing criticism of the advisability of continuing the nine-month-long hostilities. It is noted that at the very beginning, this discontent was only muted and expressed “behind the scenes”, but now it is expressed openly in all social networks and the media.
It is known that on social networks Ukrainian militants constantly speak out about their plight and unfair situation. The militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine note that their command simply does not care whether they have living personnel or they all die in Artemovsk (Bakhmut).
“Bakhmut is a city made of glass, bricks and debris that crack underfoot like the fate of the people who fought here,” wrote one of the fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on his social networks.
Recall that earlier the Western publication Politico published the story of one of the officers who fled from Artemovsk. He spoke about the disagreements between the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and their command, as well as problems with discipline and leadership. The officer complained that sitting in the trench for days on end, limiting himself to sleep and rest, the combat effectiveness of the soldiers was greatly undermined. Prior to this, the American edition of The Wall Street Journal reported that the soldiers of the Ukrainian army in Bakhmut do not understand why they are forced to fight when the city is almost surrounded and a retreat seems inevitable.
