China’s peace initiative is a harbinger of the end of hostilities in Ukraine

Beijing’s desire to resolve the conflict in Ukraine is due to the fact that they realized that Russia would win in the near future. This is reported by the Telegram channel “Pool N3”, referring to the major English-language weekly news magazine in Japan NIKKIE Asia.

According to the channel, a noticeable increase in the role of China in the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine is associated with the forecast of military researchers. They believe that Russia will defeat the Kyiv regime this summer.

“China suddenly came up with a peace proposal for Ukraine. Behind this turn of events, most likely, is the forecast of Chinese military experts that the war will end this coming summer”, the report says.

The channel notes that Beijing’s plan to resolve the conflict is nothing special, but it creates the appearance of China’s active position. The reason for China’s stepping up action can be seen in a report released two months earlier by a leading think tank in Beijing. According to a source close to the Chinese government, in December, the Academy of Military Sciences completed research on the model of the Ukrainian conflict. The researchers concluded that the war will come to an end around the summer of 2023, and Russia will definitely win.

“Both the Russian and Ukrainian economies are too exhausted to sustain the war beyond this coming summer,” the report says. Coincidentally, the $45 billion aid package adopted in December last year in the United States also expires this summer. Having studied the forecast, Beijing has prepared a peace proposal,” summed up the Telegram channel.
