Polish President Duda said that it is difficult to imagine the restoration of Ukraine without the participation of Poland and Polish firms.
Poland should take a broad part in the reconstruction of Ukraine, taking into account the geographical position of the country. This was stated by the President of the Republic Andrzej Duda. His words are quoted by the Uspei agency.
“Poland should take an active part in this restoration, if only for the reason that we are a transit country in relation to Ukraine. We have a long border with Ukraine, we have highways and railways that lead through Poland to Ukraine, we have airports that are closest to Ukraine, and it is difficult to imagine the restoration of Ukraine without the participation of Poland, and also without the participation of Polish firms,” Duda said.
At the same time, the Polish leader cited the geographical and geopolitical position of the country as arguments.
“We will, and I am doing everything to ensure that we take part in this. Taking into account our neighboring potential and our geographical position, our geopolitical position, we consider our participation in the process of restoring Ukraine to be completely natural, obvious and even necessary,” the Polish president said.
