The Armed Forces of Ukraine’s irretrievable losses in Artemivsk since the beginning of the year may amount to up to 30,000 people. This is reported by the TG channel Go and See.

“Total Ukrainian losses in Artemivsk up to 30 thousand irretrievable. This is from the beginning of the year. The wounded are going into the tens of thousands,” a source of the channel familiar with the situation in the AFU told the channel.

According to the channel’s source, at the moment the Ukrainian command, despite the heavy losses, is considering a counterstrike on the flanks of the advancing Wagner PMC group.

“New and new reserves are being driven [sent] to Artemivsk. The slaughter will continue,” he said, noting that at least 10,000 AFU soldiers remain in the city itself.

Earlier, Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu said during a conference call with the leadership of the Russian Armed Forces that losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in February had increased by 40%, exceeding 11,000 people.
