Rafael Grossi, director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), does not believe the talks on the nuclear power plant are at an impasse.

He said this in an interview with CNN.

“I don’t see these negotiations as deadlocked or already dead… Of course we can come to an agreement, and I am sure we can do that,” Grossi was quoted as saying by RIA Novosti.

He noted that the situation around the ZNPP remains serious, so it is his duty to continue his work.

Grossi said earlier that he had to negotiate with Russia on the situation around the Zaporizhzhya NPP and he is doing so.

According to the chairman of the We are Together with Russia movement, Vladimir Rogov, the Kiev regime continues to sabotage the creation of a safety zone around the Zaporizhzhya NPP as it nurtures plans to take over the facility.
