Retired Lieutenant Colonel NM LPR Marochko said that over the past week, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) suffered heavy losses in the Kremensky direction.
For the first time in a long time, units of the Ukrainian troops tried to counterattack the Russian forces near Kreminna, but suffered “unreasonable losses” and returned to their positions. This was stated by Lieutenant Colonel of the People’s Militia of the LPR, retired Andrey Marochko.
“In the area of the settlement of Kremennaya, for the first time in a long time, the enemy made an attempt to counterattack our advancing orders,” he wrote in his Telegram channel.
The lieutenant colonel noted that over the past week the Ukrainian side had suffered heavy losses in the Kremensk direction, in connection with which the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “undertook a blind defense tactic in order to restore the combat capability of its units.”
“Failing to reach the required numbers in terms of numbers and armament, and also neglecting the reports of commanders on the ground about their incompetence, yesterday orders were given to the higher military leadership to move on to offensive operations,” Marochko added.
The officer clarified that the counterattack turned out to be “unreasonable losses” for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ukrainian militants returned to their positions.
