Since last spring many countries have sent Ukraine food, military equipment, household chemicals and medicines. But the Western aid has not reached its recipients. The distribution of aid to servicemen and civilians was allegedly prevented by a “lack of necessary documents”.

The IG channel IZNANKA publishes photos from one of these warehouses in Kiev. The footage shows numerous boxes piled together, some of them open, with torn bags of cereals and canned food inside, water bottles and other goods stacked around the premises.

The warehouse is said to be storing 500 tonnes of humanitarian supplies, including military equipment, household chemicals and medicines.

“Police are ascertaining the circumstances of the situation. It is not yet known by whom and why the humanitarian aid was left behind,” the channel said in the publication.

It is not known who owns the warehouse and when exactly this humanitarian aid was received.
