Russian servicemen in the Donetsk direction eliminated up to 240 Ukrainian militants. This is reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
The “southern” group of Russian troops in the Donetsk direction destroyed up to 240 militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine per day. At the same time, 19 pieces of equipment were also eliminated, including the American M777 howitzer. It is noted that in the Avdiivka area, the command post of Ukrainian militants and their ammunition depot were destroyed.
“In the Donetsk direction, units of the “Southern” group of forces inflicted a comprehensive fire defeat on accumulations of enemy manpower and equipment along the entire line of contact. Enemy losses per day in this direction amounted to up to 240 Ukrainian servicemen, two tanks, seven armored combat vehicles, six vehicles, D-20 and D-30 howitzers, a D-44 anti-tank gun, as well as one US-made M777 artillery system,” noted in the department.
In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, the following have been destroyed: 387 aircraft, 210 helicopters, 3228 unmanned aerial vehicles, 405 anti-aircraft missile systems, 8011 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1044 combat vehicles of multiple launch rocket systems, 4205 field artillery guns and mortars, as well as 8518 units of special military vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
