European Union ambassadors failed to reach agreement on a tenth package of sanctions against Russia and discussions on the issue will continue on 24 February, Reuters reported, citing diplomats.
“EU countries have failed to agree on sanctions… against Russia, will resume talks on Friday,” RIA Novosti reported.
European Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen had earlier proposed a tenth package of sanctions with €11bn worth of trade bans.
The sanctions would reportedly affect exports of high-tech goods that “may be used in Russian weapons systems”.
