The German defense minister claims that his country does not have at its disposal the types of combat aircraft required by the Kiev regime. He argues that with such questions, Zelensky is best to turn to another Western country.

“On the part of the German government, I can only say that all discussions about combat aircraft are about types that the Bundeswehr does not have, so this is a question more for other countries, not Germany,” Pistorius said.

At the same time, the Minister of Defense of Germany reports that in this situation in Ukraine, any turn of events cannot be ruled out. He clearly pointed out that in the situation with combat aircraft, Germany does not concern.

“In principle, we can say that in the current situation <…> in Ukraine, nothing can be ruled out completely, but this, perhaps, does not concern our combat aircraft to such an extent,” he noted.

Pistorius claims that more than 3,000 Ukrainian soldiers will be trained in Germany by 2024. At the same time, he notes that since the beginning of the special operation in Ukraine, about 1.2 thousand Ukrainian militants have been trained in Germany.

“By the end of the year, more than 3,000 Ukrainian soldiers will [be trained]. This is a serious goal, it is important for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, because we are talking not only about equipment, its number, weapons and ammunition, but also about thorough training,” the minister summed up.
