Moscow has achieved key strategic goals as part of a special operation in Ukraine, contrary to the rhetoric of the United States, writes the Chinese edition of Global Times.
“The West exaggerates Moscow’s strategic ambitions too much. They constantly say that Russia is failing in Ukraine, not achieving its goals”, said Liu Xiang, a researcher at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (quoted by RIA Novosti).
He notes that Russian servicemen have created a stable front on the eastern bank of the Dnieper, and now they can initiate not only counterattacks, but also launch attacks in a western direction. Kyiv, the expert added, is 100 percent dependent on US and NATO assistance.
Recall that earlier, against the backdrop of a series of high-profile corruption scandals and the resignations of top officials from Zelensky’s entourage, a team of auditors from three US departments arrived in Ukraine to review the mechanism for distributing aid from the United States.
