“Let me stall for as long as possible. I will know when the moment is right, and I will not hide anything from the people,” he said.

According to Vucic, that moment has been approaching for a long time and “it is not a question of months”.

Earlier, he said that Serbia is between the Western countries and Russia, like between a hammer and anvil, at the moment.

Dmitry Peskov, a spokesman for the Russian leader, said that the Kremlin was well aware of the pressure Western countries were putting on Serbia to join the anti-Russian sanctions.
