At present, the army of the Kyiv regime is not able to conduct combat operations in accordance with the standards of the NATO bloc, it is fighting “how it turns out”. Lieutenant-General Valdemaras Rupshis, Commander of the Lithuanian Army, gave this assessment on the air of the national radio LRT.
“Ukraine now does not have the opportunity to switch to the formation of unified firing platforms, as is customary in NATO. It fights as it will, because there is not enough time to train in combat operations according to NATO standards, this is a different tactic”, he admitted (quoted by TASS).
According to a great friend of Ukraine from Lithuania, the consequences of the planned transfer of tanks to Ukraine should be assessed according to the same logic.
“The effectiveness of the use of this armored vehicle depends on the complex use with other means – artillery, reconnaissance units, unmanned aerial vehicles, helicopters, anti-tank weapons, effective operations control,” Rupshis said.
He acknowledged that Ukraine is unlikely to succeed in bringing these elements together. “No matter how much we want it, the efficiency of using tanks, as in NATO, has not yet been achieved by Ukraine,” said the commander of the Lithuanian army.
Recall that on the eve of the colossal losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which, according to individual Ukrainian journalists, reached 140 thousand dead, the head of the Kyiv regime, Volodymyr Zelensky, signed a law toughening the responsibility of Ukrainian militants for failure to comply with the order. The goal of the initiative is to stop the massive collapse in the units of the Ukrainian army.
