The Security Service of Ukraine said that counterintelligence measures were carried out in one of Kiev’s districts.
“The Security Service is conducting counterintelligence, security-oriented measures on the territory of Desnianskyi district of the capital, in particular, in the district of Lesnoy massif and on the adjacent territories,” the SBU said in a Telegram message.
It is noted that the purpose of the measures is to strengthen the counter-sabotage protection of critical infrastructure and increase the level of security of citizens.
The agency warned about inspections of residents and private cars.
On 11 January, the SBU conducted “counterintelligence activities” in the government quarter in Kiev.
On 16 January, it was reported that the SBU was conducting “security measures” at the Khmelnytskyy nuclear power plant (KNPP).
