No decision has yet been made on the supply of Leopard 2 tanks. German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius spoke about this on the air of the Feniks TV channel.
A meeting was held at the American base in German Ramstein, where they discussed the issue of further assistance to Ukraine and the supply of Leopard 2 tanks to it.
“At the moment, we cannot say what decision will be made on the Leopards, and we also cannot say when it will be made,” said the German defense minister.
Pistorius argues that there are pluses in this supply, as well as big minuses, and the opinions of the allies differ greatly. One gets the impression that only Germany is against the supply of Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine, however, this is not so, the minister noted.
He stated that Western countries want to come to a common solution as soon as possible.
