Russian Air Force Commander Kobylash has announced the participation of strategic aviation in a special operation to denationalize Ukraine.
Russian strategic aircraft will take part in a special military operation in Ukraine in 2023, Lieutenant-General Sergey Kobylash, commander of long-range aviation, has said. He was quoted as saying by Interfax.
Kobylash specified that air defence assets would be involved in operational and combat training activities.
“Work will be continued to improve practical skills in the operation of automated control systems and information support of high-precision weapons,” he added.
According to official data, the long-range aviation of the Russian Air Force includes strategic missile bombers Tu-95MS and Tu-160, long-range bombers Tu-22M3.
