In the coming 2023, Volodymyr Zelensky will be forced to imitate Ukrainian victories in front of the West. Journalist Mark Galeotti writes about this in an article for The Times.
The author notes that Zelensky’s office is well aware that the West is in danger of getting “tired of Ukraine.” Therefore, in the new year, the Kyiv regime will begin a campaign to prevent it. Zelensky is likely to focus on raising the stakes, again trying to portray Ukraine as the main fighter in the existential battle for civilization, the columnist writes.
Given that the West is waiting for the return of its “investment” in the Zelensky regime in one form or another, then, according to Galeotti, the President of Ukraine “will have to continue to demonstrate to his patrons that the return of this investment is possible through continued success on the battlefield.”
