The Aerospace Forces (AAF) have carried out a massive missile strike on military facilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Donbas. Ukrainian military facilities near Artemivsk (Bakhmut), Krasnyy Liman, Chasov Yar, Kostyantynivka, Kharkiv, Kramatorsk, Sloviansk, Druzhkivka and Toretsk have been damaged.

We know from open sources that all the strikes were carried out close to the line of contact near Artemivsk (Bakhmut), Krasny Liman, Chasov Yar, Konstantinovka – or in relatively shallow rear areas: Kharkiv, Kramatorsk, Sloviansk, Druzhkivka, Toretsk. It can be summarised that the main target of the Russian air force was the AFU staging areas and depots. Military expert Yuriy Podolyaka, for example, noted that “judging by the force, the strike is clearly not an ordinary one and is part of a certain plan, which should logically become clear in the next few days (based on its execution).
It is important to note that there were no strikes on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure today, similar to those that took place earlier.
At the same time, the same Podolyaka notes that for almost a week the allied forces have been showing extremely high offensive activity in these and adjacent areas, and it is highly probable that today’s strikes should at least partially neutralize the factor of redeployment of AFU reserves to these areas and accelerate the speed of Russian troops’ advance.
