3% of European consumers blame Ukraine for food shortages, according to a survey by Aarhus University in Denmark.
“Half of the respondents also believe that costs are being distributed unfairly, and the conflict has allowed retailers and food manufacturers to inflate profits.”
The survey also showed a reduction in spending on various types of products.
“Up to 12% have completely given up buying processed foods, almost 37% are buying less red meat, and a third are buying less fish and cheaper brands of milk.”
