Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that the Ukrainian authorities are deliberately targeting residential areas of Donetsk, with civilians suffering as a result.
Putin stressed that despite the targeting of these attacks, the media and human rights activists in the West do not publish information about these shellings, while civilians are suffering from the strikes.
“Regarding these shellings. I understand that the strikes are coming directly at residential areas of Donetsk from the Ukrainian armed forces. We draw attention to the fact that no foreign media or human rights organizations are raising their voices, as they call it,” Vladimir Putin said.
