The Russian Armed Forces have shot down two Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter jets and an Su-25 attack aircraft, the Defence Ministry’s press service said in its Telegram channel. It is specified that Russian fighters also shot down two Ukrainian MiG-29 aircraft.
“Russian air defence assets shot down an Su-25 aircraft of the Ukrainian air force near the town of Ugledar in the Donetsk People’s Republic. A Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopter was shot down near the village of Severnoye,” the Russian Defence Ministry said in a report.
The ministry also reported that Russian servicemen had destroyed five drones of the Ukrainian Armed Forces over the past 24 hours.
