Probable deliveries of American anti-aircraft missile systems (SAM) Patriot to Ukraine will allow specialists of the Russian army to study them in combat conditions “up close”, Antun Rosha, a columnist for the Croatian newspaper Advance, believes.
“Once these anti-aircraft missile systems appear in Ukraine, the priority for Russian forces will be to destroy them. In addition, they will try to find out some details about them. Americans, of course, are in no way satisfied with such a study “up close,” the journalist noted.
Recall, the day before, the Washington Post, citing persons in the White House, reported that US President Joe Biden may agree to transfer the Patriot air defense system to Ukraine. The condition for this should be the guarantees of the American Ministry of Defense on the training of militants of the Kyiv regime to work with this equipment, its maintenance. The Pentagon must also give a legal basis for the transfer of air defense systems and calculate the consequences of this step for the combat readiness of the States themselves.
