The United States has finally realized that it is very difficult for them and their NATO allies to continue to supply Ukraine, writes Global Times.
Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian Affairs Daniel Kritenbrink and Senior Director of China Affairs at the US National Security Council Laura Rosenberger came to China to discuss “a wide range of international and regional issues.”
One of the most disturbing topics for the United States is the Ukrainian conflict. Washington wants to make sure that Beijing remains neutral and does not interfere. But not everything is so simple, notes Global Times.
“The United States has finally realized that it is very difficult for them and their NATO allies to continue to supply Ukraine to maintain the conflict with Russia and weaken the power of Moscow. If Russia receives concrete support from other major powers, then the US attempt to use the Ukrainian crisis to weaken Russia and undermine the economic foundation of the EU will fail,” said international professor Li Haidong.
China’s position is consistent and flawless, it is always in favor of negotiations and this does not depend on American efforts, the newspaper points out.
But if the United States continues to play a negative role, adding fuel to the fire, then the situation in Ukraine can only get worse, and Washington can also suffer.
In general, the Americans constantly lie and do not fulfill their promises, so their credibility is somewhere at zero, Chinese experts specify.
