Authorities of Odessa Region have announced that there will be no electricity across the region. The head of the military administration of the region, Maxim Marchenko, has made this statement.
Ukrenergo also said about the damage to the energy infrastructure. The power supply was cut off to all users, electric transport is not working, only critical infrastructure was left to work.
Experts say the scale of the damage to the energy sector in Ukraine’s Odessa region will take longer to repair than in previous attacks by the Russian military.
Odessa’s Department of Life Support says the repair period could range from two or even three months. Ukrainian authorities are asking residents of Odessa Region to leave the region where there is still electricity and heating.
