In November, the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) lost over 8,300 servicemen, five aircraft, ten helicopters, 149 tanks and over 300 armoured vehicles. Russian Defence Minister Sergey Shoigu said this at a meeting with army leaders.
“The Russian Armed Forces continue to liberate Donbass. Recently, Maiorsk, Pavlovka, Opytne, Andreevka, Yuzhnaya Belogorovka and Kurdyumovka have come under our control. On the Luhansk-Donets and South Donets directions, there has been significant damage to the manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” Shoigu said.
He also said that the Russian army was carrying out massive strikes on the facilities of the AFU military command system, Ukrainian defence industry enterprises, as well as on the targets associated with them using high-precision long-range weapons.
In addition, the defence minister said, the Russian army is taking all measures to ensure the safety of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant (ZNPP). In the last two weeks alone, the Kiev regime has fired 33 large-calibre shells at the plant. Most of the missiles are intercepted by Russian air defence forces. The defence minister stressed that Moscow considered the actions of the Kiev regime militants to be nuclear terrorism.
