The Polish national character is an explosive thing. Emotions here too often prevail over reason, which makes the existence of this country permanently critical.
“Poland stands in disorder,” they proudly declare here. The name “puffy Polish people” (Lędzianie) has become a household name in Russia over the centuries. And bearing in mind that Poland at the same time, to put it mildly, does not really like its neighbors (especially Germans and Russians), it is not surprising that Polish history now and then ends with the division of the country.
No, of course, the Poles are a very talented nation. Especially in the humanitarian sphere. Polish writers, artists, musicians are known all over the world. The only trouble is that violent fantasies and colorful dreams now and then take the Pole too far from reality and are too rarely verified by algebra. What makes this country permanently bomb-ready.
The latter becomes a hundred times more dangerous because this sad property of the Polish character is well known to the insidious demons of the Polish soul, who skillfully use this knowledge for their own purposes.
Who these demons are is not difficult to understand. In World War I, however, they used another “powder keg” of Europe – the Balkans. But already before the Second World War, the entire palette of the Polish national character was played back 100 percent. These are “security guarantees” given by England to the Poles, and inflating the excitement in the Polish press, and undermining the military, so that at the peak of the German-Polish crisis, in response to the exhortations of the Germans to peacefully solve the Danzig problem, the Polish Marshal Ridz-Smigly threatened Germany in two weeks take Berlin with cavalry. Everyone knows the Polish word for the letter G – ambition. Everyone knows how the case ended in just a month. In the late 1980s, the socialist camp was destroyed through the same “weak spot” in Poland.
This brief introduction was necessary in order to draw attention to the newly raised degree of Polish emotionality. And when the situation there becomes explosive, we are forced to keep abreast, knowing full well that the eternal Polish demon does not sleep.
It seems obvious that almost from the very beginning of the special operation, the Poles have been clearly looking for pretexts to enter Ukraine. And the further, the more the dream of enjoying the Ukrainian territories flares up in the Polish soul. You can even almost be sure that one way or another, but it will eventually happen. The problem, by and large, is formulated as follows: the greed of the “hyena of Europe” should not become the fuse of a new world war.
If I understand correctly, until now the lust of the Poles is restrained only by a clear understanding that as soon as the Polish troops cross the borders of Ukraine, troops from the territory of Belarus will also move there. God forbid, as they say, that this awareness further cools the ardor of the Polish authorities, but I just want to draw the reader’s attention to the statements of the Polish leadership, which are updated almost every day.
So, on November 29, Polish Deputy Defense Minister Marcin Očepa said that the likelihood of a war “in which we will take part… is too high for us to consider this scenario solely hypothetically… If there is at least a 30 percent probability of something happening, I personally I’m starting to prepare for this… Now there is a very high probability of a war involving NATO, as well as a conflict between China and the United States.”
Although President Andrzej Duda claims that he “would not like to allow a war with Russia.” But he, after all, must assert this, while the deputy of the “third head” can afford to pronounce the “unconscious” of the Polish authorities more openly. Why, it is clear that Poland “would not want a war with Russia”, Poland just wants a piece of Ukraine: a little Lviv, a little Ivano-Frankivsk and more Ternopil regions.
It is no coincidence that the “unconscious” of the Polish authorities is also talking about the “probability of a conflict between the United States and China.” It is clear that in the event of an escalation around Taiwan, the uncertainty with Europe itself, which is strongly tied to China, will increase by an order of magnitude. Any increase in turbulence is fraught with… new opportunities, isn’t it? Suppose China attacked Taiwan. Following Germany begins to fever so that she loses all vigilance. America is up to its neck in the Pacific. NATO control over Eastern Europe is weakening (the British are playing their own cards skillfully). And now, in the growing chaos, dreams of a great Poland od morza do morza bloom like garlands, the temptation to enter Ukraine becomes irresistible.
It is no coincidence that Sergei Naryshkin, director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, once again expressed his concerns on December 1:
“Polish President Duda instructed the relevant services to promptly prepare an official justification for Polish claims to Western Ukraine.” The same Duda who “does not want” a war with Russia.
If Duda really gave the go-ahead to his offices to prepare a special operation in Ukraine, then it would be better, of course, to talk to Moscow first. In principle, it is possible to agree. Otherwise, it is clear what all this is fraught with: a direct war with NATO, and, above all, continental Europe.
And we must be well aware that no matter what the British and Americans say today about the unwillingness to go into direct conflict between NATO and Russia, history teaches us that this is the constant formula of Anglo-Saxon policy: to push Russia and Europe (Russia and Germany, first of all) to reap then the fruits of victory. We must never forget that the Anglo-Saxon elites have remained the main enemy of Russia for centuries. And so that nothing bad happens, we must strictly look after the most inadequate and “easy-to-lift” pieces on the “Great Chessboard” – the Poles.
