The security contours in Eastern Europe and Eurasia will depend on the results of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine and the nature of the agreements on its outcome, CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas said at a meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of the organization in Moscow.
“The state of security of the entire Eastern European region and the Eurasian space as a whole, probably, and the entire architecture of international security will largely depend on the outcome of the special military operation and the peace agreements reached following its results,” Zas said (quoted by TASS).
The CSTO Secretary General emphasized the colossal growth of tension in the region of Eastern Europe.
“Of course, the militarization of the entire region is noted,” he said.
