Moldova managed to replenish its gas reserves and accumulated 230 million cubic meters, but they will only last for two months in the event of a complete cessation of fuel supplies, said Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilitsa.

Moldovan gas reserves are stored in Ukraine and Romania, since Chisinau does not have its own storage facilities.

“We already have reserves of 230 million, which allows us to survive two months of winter, even if the entire volume of supplies is cut off tomorrow,” Gavrilita told Radio Moldova.

According to her, all the actions that the authorities are taking in the field of energy allow access to these resources every day, even if Gazprom stops supplying the required volumes of gas.
