In order to completely replace Ukrainian products, Russia will supply grain to countries in need. Oleg Ozerov, Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry, head of the secretariat of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum, spoke about this for Newsweek magazine.
The Ambassador claims that the Russian Federation always takes a responsible approach to obligations under international contracts. This is especially true for agricultural products, fertilizers, energy carriers and other essential products.
“Today Russia has a record harvest of 152.2 million tons of grain. And we are ready to supply it to the most needy countries disinterestedly (500,000 tons). And of course, we are able to replace Ukrainian grain supplies, which account for only 2% of world production, at adequate prices for all other states interested in such a deal,” Ozerov notes.
