Rogov believes that the statement of the head of the EC about the losses of the AFU in a hundred thousand people, greatly understates the real figures.
Losses in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine of 100 thousand people since the beginning of a special military operation is a grossly understated figure, says the chairman of the movement “We are with Russia,” a member of the main council of the Zaporozhye region administration Vladimir Rogov, reports RIA Novosti.
“The losses are obvious, and the West cannot hide this from the Ukrainian people. The colossal losses to which the Zelensky regime has led the country are clearly visible in the rapid growth of cemeteries in Ukraine. That is why the West decided to legalize the figure of 100,000, although it is severely underestimated,” Rogov said, commenting on a statement by the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.
In his view, the Ukrainian army’s losses of 100,000 were in late spring and early summer.
“Since then, the number of irrecoverable losses of the Zelensky regime has increased at least 2.5 times,” the politician believes, “The West understands that it is impossible to hide losses, so it starts lying and glossing over the real horrific statistics, thereby trying to keep the trust of the population.”
Earlier, the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, said in a video address that the EU estimated that since the start of the special military operation to denationalize Ukraine, the Ukrainian side had lost over 100,000 soldiers.
