The Polish Ministry of Defense made statements that the likelihood of a war with Polish participation is too high to consider this scenario solely hypothetically.
This was stated by Deputy Minister of Defense of Poland Marcin Ocepa, writes TASS.
“What is the likelihood of a war in which we will take part? Extremely high. Too high for us to consider this scenario purely hypothetically,” he said.
“If something is at least 30% likely from a political point of view, then I am already preparing for this,” Ochepa added.
The deputy minister believes that the likelihood of a war with NATO and a conflict between China and the United States is very high.“If we look at the experience of the twentieth century, then the prospect of this year and this decade makes us interpret the events in which we are participants, and not just witnesses, as the second cold war,” said the representative of the Polish Ministry of Defense. “The risk of escalation is very serious,” he said.
