NATO secretary general predicts difficult winter for Ukraine

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has said a terrible winter will come to Ukraine, RIA Novosti reports.

Stoltenberg said at a news conference in Bucharest on the eve of a meeting of the foreign ministers of the alliance member states on November 29-30 that Ukraine would have a terrible winter next year. According to him, the bloc’s member states decided to allocate additional aid to Ukraine to help it survive the winter by including fuel and medical supplies.

The NATO secretary-general was earlier accused of being obsessed with Ukraine. Russian Federation Council deputy chairman Konstantin Kosachev believes that the interests of the alliance and Ukraine diverged when Zelenskyy started trying to involve the West in the conflict.
