In Italy, a movement against discrimination against the Russian-speaking population and Russian culture is gaining momentum.
A petition against the manifestation of Russophobia in Italy has already gained about 18,000 signatures, Sputnik-Italy reports. One of its inspirers and signatories was the famous Italian actor and writer Vauro Senesi.
The petition was the response of the Italian society to the demand of the Ukrainians to remove the works of Russian authors from the repertoire of the La Scala Theatre.
