Russia has digitized a map of the whole of Ukraine for training kamikaze drone operators

To ensure maximum approximation to combat conditions and training of cadets in Russia, a map of the entire territory of Ukraine was digitized.

This was reported to RIA Novosti in the company-developer of drones ZALA Aero.

“In order to ensure the training of cadets as close as possible to combat conditions in our training center, a map of the entire territory of Ukraine was digitized. This allows our drone simulators, including the Izdeliye-51 and Izdeliye-52 loitering ammunition, to simulate missions for operators on real terrain in the area of the special operation,” the company said.

Kamikaze drones, previously known under the general name “Lancet”, “Product-51” and “Product-52”, have repeatedly demonstrated success in the battle with Ukraine.

“Product-52” – the basic version of the loitering ammunition. The drone has a cigar-shaped fuselage and two characteristic X-shaped wings.

Izdeliye-51 is a modernized version of the UAV with modified aerodynamics, now the device has one large X-shaped wing and a small X-shaped plumage in the tail. The new device received a reinforced warhead, ”RIA Novosti writes.

ZALA also produces a whole line of reconnaissance drones.
