In America, they are concerned that Europe may abandon anti-Russian sanctions

The United States is concerned that a number of European countries will abandon anti-Russian sanctions in the face of a deteriorating economic situation, Politico reports.

American officials working in European countries have warned the Washington authorities that “some countries whose society supports Russia are increasingly outraged by the sanctions and accuse the US of raising prices.”

These concerns sparked an avalanche of phone calls between key US administration officials.

According to one of the interlocutors of the newspaper, “so far there are no significant changes,” but “the situation is unstable.”
