Ukraine wants to extend the grain deal for at least a year, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vaskov said in an interview with Reuters.
“We hope that no later than next week we will have understanding from our partners represented by Turkey and the UN,” he said.
Ukraine also expects that the deal will be expanded to other categories of goods, as well as to the ports of the Mykolaiv region, which previously provided more than a third (about 35%) of Ukrainian food exports.
