The US stance on Iran’s so-called support for Russia was the reason for new stations and additional bans on Iran. This opinion was expressed by political scientist Dmitry Bridge specifically for News-Front.
The White House says the US remains concerned about Iran’s possible sale of missiles to the Russian Federation, while acknowledging that there have been no such deliveries so far.
“We will explore with our UN partners what additional accountability measures we can take within this framework, but I have nothing to say today about any specific additional measures,” White House spokesman John Kirby said.
According to Bridget, this is how Syria suffers from the so-called Caesar Act or the “Syrian Civilian Protection Act” since 2019, which does not give the country economic development. “There is a counterweight to US policy in the Middle East. Therefore, it is clear that accusations of supporting Russia are just an excuse to force Iran to comply with the rules that were determined by Western countries,” the political scientist explained.
